We would like to emphasise the excellent hygienic characteristics of our “softgrip” handles when compared to traditional handles made from phenol, plastic, aluminium etc.

Instruments which make use of our “softgrip” handles can be considered “leak-proof” instruments. Traditional handles used to be joined to the instruments by mechanical pushing, pressing, riveting or jamming. The various coefficients of expansion of the different materials created gaps and crevices which represent safe havens for dirt and bacteria. These gaps contract and expand and by means of capillary action, undesirable dirt and bacteria can ingress. After all, even sterilized dirt remains dirt!

Our injection moulded silicon “softgrip” handles ensure a 100% seamless tight fit, leaving no room for crevices no matter how small.
